About Me
My BA honors degree in English Literature and Creative writing combined with work experience using various media platforms including blogs, websites, social media, press releases and most recently working at the Guardian Media Group with the Observer magazine has given me awareness of the appropriation of content for different mediums, audiences and purposes. Taking on freelance work on top of my part time job and studies helped to strengthen my organisation skills and the ability to produce quality content to deadlines, receiving constructive, professional criticism when necessary. I wish to further pursue a career in writing.
Writing Experience
During my degree I wrote monthly for an online blog at Inspiring Interns as well as working for a local charity on their website and social media. This included posts about student life as well as information on the charity, events and news which was frequently updated. Since then I have published two novels, had a letter to the editor published in the hugely popular Writing Magazine, an article published in Cotswold Life Magazine and a short piece published in the 2020 Anthology ‘When This Is All Over.’ Publicity for my debut novel Dear Brannagh has appeared in many forms such as The Newmarket Journal, The Suffolk Norfolk Life Magazine and two radio interviews on BBC Radio Suffolk and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

Hobbies and Interests
Without sounding cliché and being perfectly honest, my main hobbies are writing. On top of my professional work I maintain a blog, read lots of writing magazines and even occasionally try my hand at poetry. Other interests and hobbies include walking, reading as much as possible of other people’s work (currently Quite by Claudia Winkleman), listening to music and taking in as much information via the radio and podcasts to enhance my life.
